Why Nicaragua?

IBA views Nicaragua as having the potential to become the next Dominican Republic, with proper infrastructure development, facilities, and training.

The Los Angeles Dodgers built the first baseball academy in the Dominican Republic in 1988.

There are currently more than 65 Dominican players on Major League rosters. Including Albert Pujols, Robinson Cano, Vladimir Guerrero, and Manny Ramirez

Pro Baseball Signings in Nicaragua: 2002: 2 Players, 2004: 3 Players, 2007: 7 Players, 2009 (to date): 15 Players.
